an Adult View

Jennifer is a mother of four children. She was outside one day pushing her children on a swing set at the park. While her children were swinging, she noticed a sweet little puppy. The puppy look malnurished and sick. After her kids saw the puppy, they began to hug the puppy. They begged Jennifer to let them keep the puppy. Her oldest daughter said " I adore puppies mommy!". Jennifer decided that since the puppy did not have a collar and looked so poorly tended to; then she would take the puppy home.

On the way home, Jennifer stopped by the vet clinic, to make sure that the puppy didn't have any diseases and updated the puppies shots. Afterwards, she stopped by a local pet shop and purchased some puppy dog food, puppy pads, and a sweet little silk made bed to let the puppy sleep on.

When they returned home, they were all conteplating on what to name the sweet little chocolate lab mixed puppy. One of Jennifer's little boys came up and gave her a great big hug, and thanked her for letting them keep the puppy.

Jennifer did not realize that she was actually allergic to dogs. When growing up she never had a puppy, although she did adore them very much! Her parents grew up on a military base, and animals were just not permitted on the site. After, remembering how badly she wanted a dog, she just couldn't resist letting her children have one.

After much debate, the children named the puppy "Sugar".

The next day, while on her way to work, Jennifer noticed some signs that were posted near the park. The postings were a picture of a healthy puppy, that looked much like Sugar! Jennifer knew that it would really upset her children that the puppy may have already been previously owned, and must be returned to the original owners.

Jennifer called the number on the posting. An old lady answered the phone, and described her puppy. Sure enough, Sugar was the same puppy! Jennifer told the old lady that she would bring Sugar by her house that afternoon, and make sure that the dog was hers.

Jennifer explained to the children that Sugar, may already have a home. They were very upset, but understood. When Jennifer pulled up to the cute little cottage, the old lady come rushing out of the house! She took one look at Sugar, and stated that the puppy was her little Lady, and thanked Jennifer for returning the puppy. The old lady gave Jennifer a hug, and gave Jennifer some money to pay for the vet visit that Jennifer had made for the dog.

That same afternoon, Jennifer looked in the newspaper and saw that their was a tiny little pug for sale. She called the number and purchased the tiny little puppy. When Jennifer returned home, she saw that her children were all sulking, until they saw the new puppy!

One of Jennifer's children said to her " I adore pugs!". Jennifer realized that her allergies began to bother her. She had a pounding headache. After one week, Jennifer decided to go to the doctor for what seemed to be a cold. The doctor ran some test and Jennifer discovered that she was allergic to dogs!

Now, what was she going to do. The doctor told her not to worry, and gave her a shot to help with her allergic reaction to their new dog! Jennifer was relieved.

After, returning home that night, the children were playing with the puppy. They decided to name the dog "Pugz"! After ten years, the children were all almost grown.

Jennifer looked down at Pugz, and said "Well, little guy, I guess it is just you and me know". She gave the dog a hug, and began to cry.

About ten minutes later, Jennifer's phone rang. It was one of her sons, and he declared that she was going to be a grandma.

Jennifer thought to herself for a moment, and then decided to take Pugz for a walk.
