I want to try speed dating but I can not find anyone to go with me. Most of my girl friends are attached and the few that are not have already been to speed dating events a few times and since they had no luck they won't go again. I am really bummed about it because there is an event coming in just a week and its being promoted by what is supposed to be the most popular of all speed dating companies and it is a promised to be a really good time but because of my booger friends I might actually have to miss it. It makes me mad because anytime that one of them has something new to try I do it with them, it's like I am the buddy that they go to when they don't want to do something alone but now that I want to try speed dating none of them are up for it.

I remember the last time when my best friend Tracy wanted to find her true love, she thought she was tired of the singles scene and thought that she was ready to settle down. So she signed up to on on-line dating site and who had to sign up with her? Yes, it was me, I had to join her since no one else wanted to do it with her and not only that I had to stick it our with her for a whole 6 months till she tired of the whole thing and went back to going out with guys from the clubs. That was not such an exciting thing for me to do and still since we are friends and I love her I went ahead and went on all those crummy double dates with guys that we met on there. Some where so bad but still I stuck at her side and never gave her any grief about it.

I don't know sometimes I wonder about these girls, I wonder if they are as good a friends as I think they are. All I know is that if no one ends up going with me to this event I am not going to be available the next time that they need someone to do something with anymore. I will wait and see if any one of them steps up and joins me and inf not I might just go alone and show them that I don't need them as crutch, that I can go at it alone.
